I've been working extraordinarily hard to get myself healed. Walking each day - which is incredibly difficult and requires a lot of discipline - to strengthen my core to help stabilise my neck and wellbeing. I have lost just under two stone in weight (just under 12.7Kg). I am doing my best to return to the world of the living to earn my way and live with quality of life. It's why I've not been blogging and although I've felt guilty for not doing so I found I had to give myself the attention.
Sadly, I still cannot work, I have no way to earn. It's a challenge to breathe with constant pain, that is my work for now and it's 24/7. But now our new government are bringing in tough new medical tests for incapacity support. For me this will mean the end of my only income and independance. After taking thousands of pounds from me and my parents the medical system still refuses to acknowledge my condition, how can the social support too? So I embark on yet another trial but this time I am letting it go. I refuse to have a medical exam that will demean, ridicule me and put me through more stress.
While I can understand the need to stop fraud, there are some of us with genuine problems that seem to get trampled on. No more for me.
In a way it is liberating.
I hope you are all doing well today and find the positives in everything life throws at you.

Thank You Blogger

For a little while now Blogger In Draft has added something great to the experience we get from using Blogger: a template design tool and pages. So I have used the template designer to convert the custom template I had (originally designed by TopTut) and I have added some pages that are accessible from the tabs menu navigation bar underneath my blog title:
I have tried to be concise with the 'About' page and not too graphic about details. The 'Testimonials' are there to express my ordeal from the perspective of others. And, the 'Links' are just a selection of links to sites that might be useful to you the reader.
Thank you Blogger.

Earth Day 2010

Forty years after the first Earth Day, the world is in greater peril than ever. While climate change is the greatest challenge of our time, it also presents the greatest opportunity – an unprecedented opportunity to build a healthy, prosperous, clean energy economy now and for the future.
